Best Western Prince George Downtown

Great location in the middle of everything. Rooms were clean and comfy. Breakfast was a great touch, those sausages are so good. 5 Stars especially for G, the manager who took the time out of his day to find clothes that I had accidently left in the room. If I stayed in PG again I would definitely choose this hotel to stay at.

The location is right downtown and in a bit of a rough area with open drug use and homelessness in the blocks around the hotel. The hotel and the free parking felt safe. The hotel is an older hotel building, which has been updated to BW standards. The stairwells, hallways and elevator are dated, however our room was clean, quiet, well appointed. The room and bathroom felt much newer than the rest of the building. Everything worked as expected. The staff were friendly and polite. The breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold options. The breakfast start time is 0600 which is a little late for road warriors who like to be already rolling by 0600.

Room was very cold. Front desk person came up and played with the thermostat. Was a little better after that but still only got to 19 degrees with the thermostat up to 32 degrees all night long. Bathroom floor was cold as ice. There was 3 of us. Only enough towels for 2 people. Only 1 coffee cup and no regular coffee, just decaf. Front desk guy fixed that for me. I have stayed here many times and have to say this was the most disappointing stay. Hopefully they do better next time.

I had a really good stay at this hotel. The customer service was excellent, and the place looks great after the recent renovations everything felt clean and updated. Front desk agent Preet was very welcoming and kind, which made the check-in process smooth and pleasant. Overall, a comfortable stay and I would definitely come back.

When we checked in Rudy, at the front desk was absolutely excellent. This hotel had recently been renovated from a Travelodge to a Bestwestern. While they have done a generally good job with the renovation at times, it does have the cheap Travelodge feeling. The height of the hallways is rather low. The room itself is a good size with nice furnishings, a small fridge, a Keurig coffee maker, and lots of plug-ins. Also the beds are very comfortable. Unfortunately, the ceiling in the bathroom is low. I imagine, as with the hallways, it is impossible to fix this issue. When we checked in on a Wednesday afternoon the breakfast room had not been cleaned and by the evening there was still bacon and hashbrowns sitting out in cold, turned off, warming trays. For breakfast there was egg rounds, bacon, hashbrowns, and a waffle maker. Also, yogurt, toasts, cereals, hardboiled eggs, juice, coffee and tea. Also, they use wood cutlery, not plastic. All employees were very nice and professional.

The staff of this hotel are the tops. They were all friendly, very helpful, professional and had great attitudes too! They were diligent in helping me with whatever I needed, going that extra mile to make sure I was looked after. It felt like a crew that cared about me and and my stay, and they all seemed to work well together as a working team too. Nice to see. They made my stay a pleasure. Thanks!

Awesome hotel! All of the staff are wonderful! They offer a day pass to the Gold's Gym (which is like a block away) which was super convenient. We also made use of their self-serve laundry room which was also very convenient and easy to use. Absolutely zero complaints. Will definitely be staying again next time we pass through Prince George.

I was very impressed with how clean everything was during my stay at the Best Western Prince George Downtown. From the lobby to the hallways and especially the room, everything was spotless. The bed linens were fresh, the bathroom was shining, and you could tell that housekeeping takes their job seriously. It made me feel very comfortable and relaxed knowing I was in such a well-maintained space. Cleanliness is a top priority for me when choosing a hotel, and this one definitely exceeded my expectations!
